- Vocoder works in pair with a midi instrument (Keyboard for example). Ableton has an integrated Vocoder and it's pretty simple to use. You just load it up, set it to 'MIDI Clip' and whatever is playing there will 'Tune' the vocals. Note it will sound robotic, just like Daft Punk.
